There's a sad story behind this one. I was in an Advanced Placement studio art class my senior year in highschool and at the end of the year we had to submit a bunch of slides from our portfolios and our three best pieces. Well, of course this was one of my three best, but I had already given it to my best friend because, well, I give her most of my art. But, she let me submit it and I never got it back. It is still my most progressive piece to date. I had burned paper and mounted it on wood that I stained with coffee grounds and burned as well. I even wrote the last couple sentences from the book (Bram Stoker's Dracula) in a fancy script behind the portrait. It's just so sad that I never got it back.
